Bullets Friendly

 I think today was the first day of summer LOL.  The weather was perfect for softball.  The sun was out and it was warm.  I think we may finally be over the cold wet spring weather we've been having..

Both teams (Boom & HS) were not playing this weekend so we decided to get our original Warriors team together to play as a team in the Bullets Friendly.  Of the original team, 9 girls are still playing softball.  Unfortunately Bubbs, Asia and Dana had other obligations and could not make it.  So we picked up Tuli, Katelynn and Keisha. 

Although our record was 1-2 losing to Tsunami and Inferno the girls did well.  I'm excited to see where they each individually take the sport.  I hope they all had as much fun playing together as it was for me to watch them play.

It was so nice to see Mark Ibrahim who helped coached the Warriors 8u team back in the day.  The girls were very excited to see him.  He was an amazing coach and taught the girls and our husbands alot about the game. 

Spring Classic - Kaysville

 Kaysville was the location for this weekends tournament .. It is end of April and we are still in winter mold.  Well close to it.  Its been cold and rainy all weekend long.  April showers was def in full effect !!!

That did not stop the games from going on .. Our Hot Shotz girls played in 12u division with 11 other teams.  Some we have beat, some we haven't and some new.

Our record throughout the tourn was 1-3. It was a humbling experience to make the walk of shame early in the tournament.  Actually I think we were the first team to be eliminated from the tourn .. OUCH!!

It was definitely what we deserved this tournament.  We had some highs with a some good plays and good hits but overall our defense and bats just did not come out today..  Live and Learn.. Move on and bring it next time around.

These are some talented girls and your allowed to have off days..  Get better and get out there and show them what we got.

Salem Spring Friendly

We drove to Salem Oregon as one of the girls said. haha. Really it was Salem Utah. in farm land in the sticks. From this picture it's looks like a nice day for some softball .. But really it was cold and windy but games must go on .. They said it would be in the 60's today.. Oh well. This was the official start of tournament season for the girls. Nice to get their feet a lil dirty .. They went 2-2 beating Rampage and Hive. Losing to Voodoo and Hive. Good job ladies ..

Big shout out to the JOSIE and DAISY who hit (in the park) HOMERUNs and during the game they won against Hive .. Which is a big deal .. Against that team of course lol.. Goooo BOOM!!!
