We won both poo games vs Ut Glory and XFactor '01 to get us int he Upper Bracket

Girls did well to the end.

Altho we came up 1 point short during the ship game.

2014 Wacky Warriors

This would be the official start of our 14u season.  Crazy to think how fast the girls are growing.  

We've added a few new girls to the team.  and can I just say that our line up is solid.

So excited for this new season.

Wacky Warriors is always a fun tournament to do.
We played for Mr C (Christian) who passed at the age of 2
He loved Peter Pan so we went with a PP them this year.
Girls and Coaches are such great sports

14u is exciting and even so exciting to see that the girls are
battling with the best of the 14u division
Highlight of the game would be beating the very good Elite 2000 team 4-3
Whom we have never beat.  They are a good team all around.
We placed 3rd behind Inferno & Elite

ASA 12u Nationals

Here we go.. We made it to Bloomington, Indiana.. Thank you parents who work at the airlines hehehe.

Exciting to see the many different states that are represented.. We were one of the few from the west coast.

Good times.  Good experience.  Making memories and learning in the process.

I believe we placed 29th out of the 72 teams.  Can't win 'em all but very good showing for our girls.

We made some noise and put Utah on the map.

Don't sleep on the Utah girls .. We have talent in the 801.

so proud of these girls.. Way to end this spring/summer season with a BANG!!!

12u State Champs

Oh yeah..back in Clinton for state tournament..  girls have been on fire.  State Champs once again..Undefeated all tournament long !!!  8u champs as the Warriors, 10u Champs as Hot Shotz and now 12u Champs.. Proud of these girls!!!!  Way to be ladies!!!

Nationals here we come!!!

Triple Crown - 12u Colorado Sparkler

Its good to get in a week long tournament to see where your team fare in their age group.  Colorado was it this year.  First time to travel there for our team.  It was a good experience for them all.   The talent there is a amazing.  And it was nice to see more team from the midwest and not just Vegas and California.  We got to play teams from Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizon, Illinois.  And we can compete.  

We played in the Silver bracket and was one of the last 6 teams left standing.  Great effort for the girls.  We needed our bats that last and final game.  but overall a great experience.  Battling with the teams.

Allstar experience was fun for the girls.  Learning to play on the whim with girls they've never met.  Seeing one of their own team mates get selected to play in the all-american game.  Fun times for sure.

The highlight in Colorado... Meeting JENNY FINCH hehe  YAY!!!

DashNSplash 14u

Tooele is the location for this weekend.  DNS is always a fun tournament to do.. Girls get a free pass to splash but we always seem to be playing late into the night that we don't get to splash.  Oh well..
We stayed undefeated all tournament til the ship game vs a very good Inferno team.  They def came to play after our girls put them in the losers bracket with at 13-1 score.  yikes!  so i was no surprise they wanted revenge.  the ship game gave us our first loss with a score of 14-4 and on to the IF game we go.  it was a good battle between both teams.  at the 3rd inning we are tied 7-7.  they are the home team!!  last inning and we go up 3 runs..yes!!  We need to hold them.. And that we do we a double play to end the game.  Exciting Exciting Exciting.. We are the CHAMPS.. watching these girls gets us more and more excited for the game.. Right on Hot Shotz!!!!

Golden Spike 12u

We didn't fair to well in the 14u Copper Classic but its always a great experience to play up and learn from the older girls..
This weekend we traveled to Clinton to play in the Golden Spike.  We need this win to qualify for national play in Bloomington Indiana.. Girls played very well and was undefeated all tournament long.  Ship game vs Idaho Racers.. We are CHAMPS and on the road to Nationals.. YES!!!!

14u Wasatch Invitational in Heber

We traveled to Heber City for this weekends tournament.  and back to playing 14u ball.  2 bracket (upper/lower) tournament.  Girls played well to make it to the Upper bracket.  What a great accomplishment.  Its amazing to see how well the girls hitting that dang ball.. Battled and got our first loss to Fast & Furious.. who we met up with in the ship game.  Their bats are bigger LOL.  But proud of our girls 2nd place finish nonetheless.  Great job Hot Shotz!!!

May Madness

after playing and 14u tournaments these last several times.. it was a nice refresher to play in our own age division.  the weather has been rainy and cold all week long.  even up to the day of the tournament.  mother nature was definitely rooting for us (lol) b/c we had nice weather to get the games going.. other areas of the state where not so fortunate.  great time and good job on your first place finish ladies.. got to celebrate #Bubblegum10's bday too.. Hot Shotz Hoorah!!!

St Patty's Day Blast - Las Vegas

3rd year in a row we've traveled to good ol' Vegas for the St Patty's Blast.  It definitely was a BLAST.  Every year it gets better and better.  Girls have definitely stepped up their game and prove they can battle vs the Cali teams.  It was exciting to see the growth.  Great job Hot Shotz!!

Deseret Spring in St George

Starting off our true 2nd year 12u in St George this season .. Exciting to see the growth in the team.  Excited for this new season.  We played well but still had a loss to Hive '02 in pool play.. Moded.. no fun LOL.  We started bracket verse LV Lil Rebels with a loss as well.. Now its do or die.  Proud of these girls for battling all through bracket to meet up with Rebels again the ship game.  Even more proud moment to get the win and push an IF game.  Close game and loss to take 2nd place.  So good to see these girls compete well against these Vegas teams.  Great effort ladies
